Metajna
METAJNA, a village and harbour in the eastern part of the island of Pag, situated in the cove of the same name, on the Barbat peninsula; population 272. Chief occupations include farming and fishing.

A peaceful town on the island, together with the villages of Zubovici and Kustici - until recent times exclusively an agricultural area with developed livestock breeding - has started to develop its tourism in recent years. Clean sea, a sand beach, domestic products and private accommodation, the experience of intact nature - a big source of fresh water, they all make Metajna a nice place for vacation.

The church of St. Mary was erected in 1487 by Master Nicholas of Sibenik, in the late Gothic style. East of the village, on the top of the peninsula, there are ruins of the Gothic church of St. Christopher.
